Scientific conference «Electrochemical activation-2010» dated for fifth anniversary of Vitold Bakhir Electrochemical Systems and Technologies Institute successfully was held in Moscow from 25

Scientists and specialists from different countries took part in the conference. In presented reports there were examined new theoretical conception of electrochemical activation nature and issues of practical application including new aspects and fields of application as well as long experience of electrochemically activated solutions application. High emphasis was placed on the following subjects:

• new theoretical conception on mechanisms of making and long conservation of metastable substances of various chemical nature (organic and inorganic), 
• a conception of virus inactivation mechanisms by electrochemically activated solutions with active substances of various chemical nature, 
• technological aspects of application of electrochemically activated solutions of new generation for disinfection of food raw material and food products including seafoods, 
• technological and technical aspects and experience of practical application of fog of anolyte of new generation with various active substances for disinfection of stock building at cattle presence, tanks of huge volume for drinking water storage and range of other units, 
• projection of industrial electrochemically automated systems and practical application of electrochemically activated solutions for disinfection of isolation hospital sewage as well as disinfection of drinking water and sewage in region difficult of access including mountain region. 
• Professor V.M. Bakhir gave masterclass to participants on the technology of straw saccharification, presented electrochemical devices of new generation and their potential.

Participants of the conference visited industrial projects near Moscow and studied many years’ experience of electrochemical devices developed in the Vitold Bakhir Electrochemical Systems and Technologies Institute and serially produced by Laboratory of Electrotechnology, ltd.

As the result of the conference there were taken such a decisions: 

1. to carry out annual scientific and practical conference on technique and technology of electrochemical activation with the invitation of business representative.
2. to carry out scientific conferences on new theoretical and technological aspects of electrochemical activation once in a three year.
3. to recommend to experts and specialists of the Vitold Bakhir Institute to carry out masterclasses on different technological matters of electrochemical activation on paid basis for interested companies and persons. 
4. to make special data bank in technique and technology of electrochemical activation for companies registered in the Register of Vitold Bakhir Electrochemical Systems and Technologies Institute.

Professor, DSc, V.M. Bakhir is giving masterclass on the technology of straw saccharification using electrochemically activated solutions produced by ECA devices of new generation.
