A highly effective method of iodine-iodide processing of gold-containing raw materials has been patented.
A highly effective method of iodine-iodide processing of gold-containing raw materials has been developed and patented. It is used for opening persistent hard-to-open gold-containing raw materials, ores and concentrates, primarily waste from gravity enrichment, the so-called "black concentrates". The method allows to achieve high gold recovery in the product solution from 84 to 98 %, to ensure separation of the formed pulp by filtration with high rates, apply safe and efficient electrochemical regeneration of iodide solution, reduce the consumption and loss of expensive reagents, to increase the degree of non-waste and environmentally friendly process.
