Vitold Bakhir developed an electrochemical element MB-26T-14.
A flow-through electrochemical module element MB-26T-14 has been developed (patents: RF no. 2350692; US 8,961,750; GB 2479286). At a current strength of up to 200 A and a voltage of no more than 6 V, the chlorine (gas) performance is up to 250 g/h. The operating temperature of the electrolysis is no more than 50 °C. The life of the elements is 50,000 hours of continuous operation before replacing the anode coating. The MB-26T-14 element has a cooled anode and a self-cleaning function of the diaphragm and cathode chamber. MB-26T-14 elements produced serially by the Institute of electrochemical systems and technologies since 2017.
